These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the COATY Inc. website and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About COATY
COATY Inc. is a Delaware corporation. The website currently provides information about COATY, accepts waitlist signups, and allows visitors to submit business and general inquiries.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Waitlist and communications
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee product availability, early access, pricing, delivery, or any other benefit. Launch dates and product plans may change. By joining, you agree to receive marketing emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data through automated means without our permission, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or misleading content, or use the Services in violation of applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
The Services and their content, including the COATY name, branding, text, graphics, layout, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to COATY and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access the Services for personal or internal business purposes. No other rights are granted.

You retain ownership of information you submit. You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to receive, review, respond to, and act on your submission. If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COATY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless COATY and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services or your material violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue. This section does not limit any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version and updating the date above. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.
14. General terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction or by operation of law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and COATY concerning the Services.
